At 22pm on March 17th, Samsung launched three new mid-range smartphones: Galaxy A33 5G、Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A73 5G.
Sumsung Galaxy A53 5G
Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is equipped with a 6.5-inch FHD+ resolution Super AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 800Nits and 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 74.8 x 159.6 x 8.1 mm and weighs 189 grams, supported by IP67 waterproof and dustproof.
In terms of performance, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G uses Samsung’s Exynos1280 processor and is built with a 5nm process. The phone also supports RAM Plus, which can expand up to 8GB of virtual operating memory. Compared to the Galaxy A52 5G, the latest upgrade is the 5nm Exynos 1280 chip, which has an 18% increase in multi-core CPU performance and a 43% increase in GPU performance. It comes with 6/8GB OF RAM and 128/256GB of storage, supports microSD card expansion, and lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of Image, it features a 12MP ultra wide Angle lens, a 6MP OIS wide Angle lens, a 5MP depth of field and a 5MP macro lens, a 32MP camera on the front, and Samsung’s improved AI camera improves low-light photography. The improved night mode can now combine up to 12 images at a time to get better night shots.
In terms of price, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G will go on sale for the first time on April 1, starting at 449 euros, or about 3,146 RMB.
Galaxy A33
The Galaxy A33 will go on sale on April 22 at a higher initial price than the A32, and a version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will go on sale in the UK at a starting price of £329, about £80 more than the Galaxy A32 at its 5G launch. The Galaxy A33 features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and 800 nits peak brightness. Samsung uses its latest 5nm Exynos 1280 chip in the Galaxy A33, so it has exactly the same performance as the Galaxy A53.
In terms of price, the Samsung Galaxy A335G will go on sale for the first time on April 22, starting at 369 euros, that’s about 2,585RMB.
Sumsung Galaxy A73 5G
In addition to A33 and A53, A73 with higher configuration is also aimed at the mid-mainstream market products, but the difference is that A73 performance is more powerful. It should be the best phone for those who pursue excellent performance but also want to save money.
The latest Samsung Galaxy A73 5G, which is the most high-end phone in Galaxy A camp, has A 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, 120Hz refresh rate, 76.1 x 163.7 x 7.6 mm body size, weighs 181 grams, supports IP67 water and dust resistance, The appearance has not changed much from the previous generation. According to supply chain sources, BOE and TCL CSOT have been added as screen suppliers.
