In order to grasp the major opportunities brought by the rich application categories and the improvement of competition pattern in this round of display industry, the Company and its holding subsidiary TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "TCL Huaxing"), Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and the Management Committee of Guangzhou Development Zone plan to jointly sign the "Guangzhou Huaxing 8.5 Generation Winding Printing OLED/QLED Display Panel Production Line and Guangzhou Huaxing 8.6"Project Cooperation Agreement for Novel Display Device Production Line of SUBSTITUTE OXIDE Semiconductor (hereinafter referred to as the "Project Cooperation Agreement"), it is planned to jointly build a production line of new oxide semiconductor display devices (hereinafter referred to as the "T9 Project") with a monthly processing capacity of about 180,000 pieces of 2250mm×2600mm glass substrate, mainly producing and selling medium-size and high-value-added IT display screens (including Monitor, Notebook and Tablet).

TCL Huaxing establishes Guangzhou Huaxing Optoelectronic Semiconductor Display Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Huaxing" and "Project Company") as the project company to take charge of project construction and operation.
The total investment of T9 project is estimated to be about RMB 35 billion.
The initial registered capital of Guangzhou Huaxing is RMB 500 million. State-owned enterprises coordinated by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and the Management Committee of Guangzhou Development Zone participate in the T9 project investment by increasing capital and investing shares in the project company after fulfilling their respective internal and external decision-making approval procedures in accordance with laws and regulations.
After the completion of the capital increase, the registered capital of Guangzhou Huaxing will be 17.5 billion yuan, of which TCL Huaxing will hold 55%, and state-owned enterprises coordinated by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government and the Guangzhou Development Zone Management Committee will hold 45%.
In addition, the feasibility of building the 8.5 generation coiled print OLED/QLED display panel production line will be demonstrated.
With the arrival of 5G communication, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technology wave, the windable, multi-form flexible display is expected to usher in explosive growth in the field of large and medium-sized size.
The new oxide semiconductor display device production line under the construction of this T9 project will effectively promote the penetration and development trend of current high-end products.
Oxide technology is also a key driver for the industrialization of the new display, which will provide technical support and product development verification for the preparation of coiled printing OLED/QLED flexible display, and accelerate the process of commercial mass production.
